Known for his outstanding asymmetric design and 3-dimensional cut,Owen Chen was awarded the 1st Place at the 3rd TVBS Design Contest tv show(like PROJECT RUNWAY). His work was once handpicked by Lady Gaga while she was performing at a concert in Taiwan. Owen Chen has participated in various major international and domestic fashion 

shows, including China Fashion Week, Young Designer's Exhibition(multiple times), TIS Fashion show, Hua-Shan Art Exhibition...etc., and has been widely recongnized by the media.

In addition to being a fashion designer, he works as a stylist and serves as a dressing consultant.His clients include many renowned performing artists and models, such as Ya-Hsin Wu, Yin-Ping Wang, Jenna Wang, Freya Lim, Christine Fan, Melody Yeung, Plungon, Popu Lady...etc.

Now,he is the creative director of his namesake brand "OWEN CHEN" and the designer of the brand "In Design".

 

設計師擅長不對稱設計與立體剪裁，作品曾受LADY GAGA欽點合作，也是電視實境秀「超級設計師」第三屆總冠軍，曾參加中國國際時裝周等大型展演廣受媒體注目。有豐富的展演經驗，包括多次新一代設計展、TIS服裝展、華山藝文特展..等等。除了設計師的工作以外CHEN同時也身兼服裝造型企劃、服裝搭配師..合作過對象包括多位知名藝人與麻豆: 吳亞馨、王尹平、王思平、林凡、范瑋琪、楊韻禾、艾怡良、浩角翔起、POPU LADY..等

 

 

Designer Owen Chen especially focuses on the extensive use of modeling technique to create the well-executed look and structure. He thinks fashion is an artistic union and balance of elegance and personal style. He likes to design based on the simplest philosophy:"beautiful & fashion". He does not go for prevalent custom and meaningless marketing story-telling. Instead, he renders 

the elegance and presence of women simply by means of art and aesthetics, revealing fashion 

and personal taste spontaneously and simultaneously.

設計師強項著重在大量使用立體剪裁來展現俐落的風格結構，CHEN認為時尚是一種“優雅與個人風格並重的藝術結合”，他喜歡用最簡單的理念“Beautiful & Fashion”來設計，不流俗於空泛無意義的說故事行銷，單純的讓藝術和美來呈現女人的優雅大方、也單純的讓時尚和品味兼容並蓄。
